A few weeks ago,
I was aimlessly wandering around the Chapters bookstore (as one does) and found a display table showcasing city maps. I began shuffling through them in hopes to find one for New York City and it made me think about that time I was there a couple of years ago and how much I enjoyed being in the big city. Inevitably, I looked-up cheap flights as soon as I got home and planned my trip.
Within a few days, I had easily convinced my galpal Liana to join me and voilà - two weeks later, here we are! We might have gotten lost once (or twice, ahem) trying to familiarize ourselves with the subway system...BUT, we finally made it to The Time Nyack in great spirits.
We were immediately impressed by the unique decor at the front entrance and we very eagerly headed up to our room to see more.
Staying at the Time Nyack during NYFW
(a rather hectic time of the year in the fashion world) has been nothing short of relaxing. This hotel is truly a gem.
What I find most interesting is that the hotel building was previously a former factory. It has some incredibly unique furniture pieces and eye-catching modern artworks.
My favorite part is undoubtedly the outdoor pool bar and I love how it provides a picturesque view of the city.
Some of my favorites include...
Pool bar: self-explanatory!
Shower: (you can't even hear the water faucet running, it's so peaceful)
Location: one that offers a beautiful view of the Hudson River
The endless amount of floor cushions: I mean, just look at them!

It goes without saying
I really enjoyed my stay at The Time Nyack during NYFW. Thank you for reading this blog post and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! I will be sharing a few more images of the Hotel's ambiance which includes floors made of colored tiles, glass walls revealing indoor plants and a mixture of jagged patterns, and contrasting textures just about everywhere.
